01 two truths
The venue has two of them
One in the platform, changing every day because that is where you work. One on the site, frozen on the day it went live.
ComfortDesign · websites and identity
The menu changes in the kitchen and it has already changed on the site. We build websites for restaurants and hotels wired to the platform you already use every day — and, when it is needed, the logo and identity that come before the site.

the problem
The menu changes in the kitchen, the hours change in summer, a room frees up. On the site everything stays as it was, until somebody finds the time to update it — and that moment usually never comes. The site you paid for describes the venue as it was two years ago.
how it works
01 two truths
One in the platform, changing every day because that is where you work. One on the site, frozen on the day it went live.
02 the cost
Someone reads about a dish that is gone. Calls to ask about hours that are wrong. Books somewhere else because the form never answered. None of it ever shows up in a report: it shows up as tables that do not fill.
03 the connection
Instead of keeping a copy of the menu, it reads the menu from where the menu already lives. You no longer update the site: you work, and the site follows.
04 two surfaces
The platform is the inward face, the site the public one. Changing the price of a dish stays a single action, and it counts for both.
05 the presence
Not because somebody tends it every week, but because it is wired to what you do every day anyway.
three levels
Three different depths. You move up a level when you need to and not before: a site that does more than you need is only more expensive to keep.
01 · showcase
A few pages done properly: who you are, where you are, how to get there, why it is worth coming.
For people who want to be there, done well, and nothing more.
02 · connected
Everything in the showcase level, plus the content that changes often taken straight from the platform.
For people who change the menu often and would rather not do it twice.
03 · transactional
Everything in the connected level, plus requests that land directly in the floor queue instead of in an inbox.
For people paying a percentage to a portal who would like to stop.
before the site
Name, mark, colours, tone of voice: it comes before the site, because it is what the site has to stage. If it is missing, we build it. If it exists and it is good, we keep it and respect it. We tell you which of the two before we start, not after.
getting started
01
A couple of lines about what you do and what does not work today. No specification needed: what helps is knowing where it jams.
02
If there is a site, we actually look at it. We tell you what we would keep, what we would rebuild and why — including when the answer is "this one is fine already".
03
Scope, timing and cost in writing, within 48 hours. You talk to the people who will build the site, not to a sales rep.
cost
Because there is no honest one. A three-page showcase and a site with bookings and payments are not the same job, and putting a "from €X" at the bottom of the page would only be there to make you write. What we can tell you before we speak is what moves the price.
The proposal you get contains a number, not a range.
questions
ComfortDesign is how ComfortService builds websites and visual identity for restaurants, hotels and places that host people. What separates it from any other website is the connection to the management platform: menu, hours and availability are never updated twice, because the site reads them from where they already live. We also do the logo and the identity, for people starting from nothing.
How much work the site does. The showcase level tells and nothing more: who you are, where you are, how to get there. The connected level adds the content that changes often — menu, allergens, prices, hours, availability — taken from the platform in real time. The transactional level adds actions: bookings landing in the calendar, takeaway with online payment, stay requests. Each level contains the previous one in full.
Look at how many times a year something written on your site changes. If the menu is stable and so are the hours, the showcase level is enough and everything else would be complexity paid for and never used. If you change the menu weekly, the connected level pays for itself in time saved. If you currently give a percentage to a booking portal, the transactional level is the one to look at. Either way we will tell you after looking: we have no interest in selling you a level you will not use.
Yes. Mark, colours, type and applications are a piece of work in their own right and can be commissioned alone. The reverse holds too: if you already have an identity that works, we build only the site and respect it. The two go hand in hand but they are not a compulsory bundle.
No. We build sites for people who do not use ComforTables or ComfortRooms, and they are still good sites. The connection is an advantage, not a requirement: without a connected platform you stay at the showcase level, which for many businesses is exactly what is needed. If you adopt a platform later, the site connects to it without being rebuilt.
The site reads the data from the platform instead of keeping a copy of it. When you change the price of a dish in the kitchen or take a course off, that change is already on the site: there is no second place to repeat the same operation, so there is no case where one of the two falls behind. The same goes for hours, closures and — with ComfortRooms — for available rooms.
let us talk
Even if you have not decided what you need yet. Half of these conversations start with "I do not know whether I need a new site or just to fix the one I have" — and that is a question you can only answer by looking.
